Hello! We will be traveling to WDW at the end of July with an 18month old. Given how hot it will be, do you have any suggestions for fun indoor activities that would be appropriate for her? Maybe in Sea World or Animal Kingdom?

    Hi Jodi,

July is hot at the Walt Disney World Resort! Make sure you have lots of water for your little one to keep hydrated.

At Animal Kingdom, you can definitely see two fun shows - Festival of the Lion King and Nemo the Musical. These are both air conditioned venues for your family to take a break in the heat. Since Animal Kingdom is a home for animals, most of the attractions are outdoors. Another cool spot though dark and potentially scary for your little one is It's Tough to Be a Bug. The usual hijinks 3-D tricks might be too much but it is cool under the Tree of Life.

As for the other Disney theme parks, there are plenty of indoor attractions and even dancing water fountains in Epcot.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
