We are traveling to WDW during President's in Feb. We will likely stay at Port Orleans- Riverside. My dad will be renting a scooter from an outside company. Should we drive to the parks or take the bus? I am worried about long waits & overcrowded bu

Hi, Kathryn! My family and I often drive in from Tennessee.  Whenever we have our own vehicle that is what we use to get to the theme parks, water parks, and the other Resorts.  Disney does an amazing job of moving all of the Guests around in a timely manner, but having your own car has its advantages. You don't have to wait for transport from your Resort on your way out for the day, and at the end of a long day, the wait for a tram to the parking lots is often considerably less than the wait for Disney transportation. This will be even more true with a scooter in your travel party because there are limited spaces on each bus for them. Parking is free if you do stay on-site, so definitely take your own vehicle! The only exception to this rule is a temporary one.  Downtown Disney is currently undergoing a lot of construction, and parking is scarce.  For the time being, I would take Disney transportation there.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
