Hi, Moms! I will be traveling to WDW in 2010 with my children (4 and 8), husband and my in-laws. I know 2010 is a long way off, but I'm planner and research. Can you recommend which resort has suites or adjoining rooms? I would prefer a moderate or deluxe.

We on the Moms Panel are all planners and researchers, so you're in good company here.

All the Disney resorts have rooms rooms that can be adjoined (connected by an internal door). You would need to request this when making your reservation. Also, all the deluxe resorts have concierge-level suites. Be aware that these can be quite expensive. (Call 407-W-DISNEY for more information and pricing on these.)

Instead, my suggestion for you would be a villa-type room at one of the hotels that serves the Disney Vacation Club. These are: the Beach Club, the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, the Boardwalk, and the Wilderness Lodge. This is the type of room we always get when traveling with an intergenerational group. For your group, I would suggest a two-bedroom villa. This consists of one bedroom with a king-sized bed, one bedroom with two queen sized-beds, and a spacious living room with a queen-sized pull out couch. There are also two full bathrooms (one with a giant jacuzzi tub), a full kitchen, and an in-room washer/dryer.

These villas are all attached to deluxe or near-deluxe level hotels. Any of them would be great. I happen to love the Craftsman decor at the Wilderness Lodge. My children most enjoy the Beach Club villas because they have access here to Stormalong Bay, the pool complex of the Yacht and Beach Club. I must say that this is the most spectacular pool I could imagine, with a sandy bottom area, water slides, a lazy river, and more.

Good luck with your planning and be sure to ask us if you have more questions.
