Traveling to WDW April 21st-April 26th with an 8 month old. We are staying at Ft. Wilderness. What is the easiest way to and from FW and each park? Will have a stroller. What are favs at FW? This is our first time staying there! Thanks!

Hi Carolanne and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My family’s favorite place to stay is The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Our youngest daughter was just six months old the first time she stayed! With a full kitchen and bedroom, you will have plenty of space for everyone. In my experience, a pack n’ play fits nicely tucked at the foot of the bunk beds.

It's a boat ride from the Magic Kingdom Park and it's easy to take a stroller with you. Just collapse it when you board a smaller boat. The bigger boats will allow you to keep your little one in their stroller. Just take your cues from the Cast Member helping you board, they are always so helpful!

Once you arrive to the Magic Kingdom, you can use the monorail to get to Epcot. Buses are available at your resort entrance to take you to the other parks and Disney Springs.

One of the things my family enjoys is riding around in a golf cart! You can rent one there! It’s our favorite way to get around the resort and you can park at the marina when you board the boat! Speaking of the marina, you can view the Electrical Water Pageant there nightly.

You’re sure to have a great time roasting marshmallow during Chip ‘N’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long. Movies Under the Stars also take place afterward, at the outdoor theater at  the Meadow Recreation Area. For a schedule of the movies playing, ask a Cast Member at check-in.

Carolanne, I hope I’ve given you a few things to look forward to at your resort!
