Hello. We are traveling to Walt Disney World on January 15, 2024 for a 12 night stay at the Disney Beach Club Villas. We are annual passholders. Will we still need to make park reservations if we are staying at a Disney resort? Thanks.

    Welcome back to planDisney, Tammy!

A 12-night stay at Disney's Beach Club Villas sounds like a practically perfect way to start 2024! We just recently enjoyed a visit to our Home Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, and I was able to stroll over to Beach Club for a quick snack. It will always be one of my favorite Disney Vacation Club Resorts. Let's take a look at theme park reservations during your stay.

Beginning on January 9th, 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets. However, Annual Passholders may still need a theme park reservation based on the dates of their visit. I spoke with a Cast Member, who confirmed that there would be "good-to-go" dates for Annual Passholders when a theme park reservation is not needed, but the calendar for these dates has not yet been released. Since you are staying at a Disney Resort, you will be eligible to make theme park reservations for each day of your Resort stay. As you get closer to your stay, be sure to check back for more updates about Annual Passholder reservations.

Thank you for visiting planDisney. We are here for all your Walt Disney World Resort questions!

    Enjoy making magical memories!
