We will be traveling with a vegetarian. If there are not veg options listed on the menu could their be more options once we arrive? For example Ohana dinner doesn't have much to offer. Would they have some other things to choose from ?

Hello there, Sarah! Welcome back to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and asking another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

I don’t know about you but we are so incredibly excited to see more offerings opening up at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! Over the last few months, this resort has undergone a resort-wide refurbishment that has provided a gorgeous refresh to many iconic features.

With the reopening date rapidly approaching, many of the dining locations will also be inviting Guests back to sample some of their delicious dishes! ‘Ohana, an amazing all-you-care-to-enjoy dining location, will be reopening on July 9th. Guests can enjoy both breakfast and dinner and advanced dining reservations are highly recommended.

There are few differences in ‘Ohana’s menu compared to previous times that my family and I have dined here! Fortunately, I was able to speak with a Cast Member and was told that a Plant-Based Dinner Skillet is being offered at this time. That being said, if you have any particular dietary concerns outside of needing vegetarian options, I would recommend reaching out to the Special Diet department! This has been the best resource when navigating multiple dietary needs in my experience. They may be reached via email at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com and it is recommended that you reach out no more than 14 days prior to your arrival.

Best of luck as you continue to plan for your visit to Walt Disney World Resort this November! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you along the way!
