    We will be traveling this upcoming February 2010 to Disney world. We will there at the beginning of Lent. Is there a place on property to go for Ash Wednesday Catholic services?

    Hi, Cindy!  There are no services at Walt Disney World on Ash Wednesday, but there is a beautiful Church just a taxi ride away!  Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine is about a $24 cab ride from Downtown Disney, and you can find their Mass schedule at their website, which is www.maryqueenoftheuniverse.org .  They do not yet list their Ash Wednesday services, but with Lent coming up rather early this year, keep checking back for updates.

    Another nearby Church in the town of Celebration is the brand new Corpus Christi Catholic Church.  I haven't done the taxi ride there yet, as the Church is still so new, but you can find their Mass schedule at www.celebrationcatholic.com .  They also do not yet have their Lenten schedule up yet, so you'll have to check closer to your trip.
