traveling from UK with two autistic children, We are looking to book for maybe 2013, what time of year would it be less crowded and where would be better to stay

    Emma,

For low crowd levels, I recommend January through the first half of February, September, October, and the first two weeks of December. Of the above, September-October is my personal favorite time to visit WDW. My family loves to attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in the Magic Kingdom, and as a foodie, I love to attend the Food & Wine Festival in Epcot!

As far as resorts go, I would suggest avoiding the value resorts, as they tend to be more crowded and noisy which might overstimulate your children. Coronado Springs and Port Orleans-French Quarter would be the quietest of the moderate resorts, and most any of the deluxe resorts would be peaceful as well.

    Hope that helps!
