I am going to be traveling with my two boys- ages 2 1/2 and 5. Would it be easier to rent a double stroller each day or bring our own from home?

Hi, Melissa!  When my girls were younger, I always preferred bringing my own stroller from home.  To begin with, when I flew down, I always found it easier to navigate the airport if I had my stroller with me.  It allowed me to put the girls in a safe place, plus have the cup holders and the basket to put our carry on items.  You can gate check the stroller when you arrive at the departure gate, and retrieve it as soon as you get off of the plane.

The strollers at the theme parks do not recline, and while they are very spacious, I have one child who is super fussy about how she sleeps.  Having my own, reclining stroller allowed her to take naps, which in turn kept us from having to return to our resort to allow her to take a break.

If you opt to rent a stroller, pack a beach sized towel with you to lay on the bottom of the stroller.  The theme park wheels are a molded plastic, and I always found that having something a little bit cushy made it more comfortable for the kids to ride.

    Have a great vacation!
