WE ARE TRAVELING WITH 3 TEENAGE GIRLS. IS THERE A WAY TO CHARGE EXPENSES TO THE ROOM SO THEY DO NOT HAVE TO CARRY CASH? WE ARE STAYING ON THE GROUNDS.

You are welcome to give charging privileges to anyone in your traveling party, including teens and even children. This is done through your Key to the World Cards, which also function as your room keys (and as your park tickets and Dining Plan credits if you have purchased those features).

There are, however, a few things to think about:

    - All of a room's Key to the World cards are linked to the same general credit card. You can set a charging cap, but this will be for the entire room, not for individual cards.

    - When making room charges of more than $50, guests are sometimes asked to show ID. Your teens should have this if they will be charging larger amounts.

    - A Key to the World Card should be protected just like a credit card. Don't give anyone charging privileges if you think they might lose the card.

Another alternative to room charges is a Disney gift card. These are available at nearly every merchandise shop in the parks and resorts. You could load them up with a specific amount (say $100) and then the teens could use these cards as their spending money in the parks. The cards can be refilled during your stay.

    Have a great trip!
