I will be traveling to Orlando and will stay at the Coronado springs this coming week. Since we arrive July 4th I wanted some tips and advice on where to take my family to watch the fireworks. We have to be up early the next morning for the us open though.

    HI Jessica!

You're in for a treat! Disney's Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky! promises to be spectacular!

If you will be at the Magic Kingdom for the show, I would suggest finding a good spot near the Train Station at the entrance to the park. This area is very popular (arrive 60 to 90 minutes early at holiday times) but give one of the best views while providing quick access to the park exit if you're calling it an early night. Other popular locations are in the Castle hub and the Tomorrowland Terrace area - however exiting the park may take a bit longer from these areas.

My favorite non-park location to view the fireworks is the Polynesian beach area. They pipe in music the music from the show and it is wonderful to see the view across the water as well! If you aren't driving, using Disney Transportation to return to Coronado Springs from this location will be slightly trickier - as I would recommend avoiding the Magic Kingdom and Ticket and Transportation Center after the show. Perhaps a bus to Downtown Disney, then transfer to a Coronado Springs bus will be best. Of course, a taxi will be the quickest, but does cost extra.

    Hope this helps!
