Hello, Robert!
Welcome to planDisney, it's nice to have you sailing the web with us! As a mom to a very, well, selective eater I can really sympathize with worrying about what your child will eat on vacation. I also realize that allergies require extra care. I'll be happy to help!
Disney Cruise Line is amazing at managing
special dietary requests, and I see that eggs are considered one of their common allergy-friendly requests. I recommend using the
Special Requests option in My Reservations to submit a request before your cruise, then visit the Onboard Dining Session when you board the ship for more information. You should also let your dining team know about the allergy, as well as any Cast Members who serve you during meals outside of your dinner rotation. Take advantage of the full-service restaurants as much as possible, because they will be the best option for managing special requests!
While sealed non-perishable snacks are allowed to be brought onto the ship, perishable foods are unfortunately prohibited. I'm sorry! But I will say that there is typically yogurt available onboard (it's one of my daughter's preferred foods as well) and I'm confident that your dining team will be able to help find things that work for your picky eater. My daughter happily had pasta with butter and parmesan most nights of our cruise and it wasn't a problem at all! If you'd like to talk with a Cast Member about your dietary needs you can use this link to
send a message or call. Since I know you're sailing with little Mouseketeers I want to share a link to the
My Disney Cruise Adventure printable! This cute booklet is a really fun way to prepare for your cruise and record some favorite memories while you sail. You can also learn about the many activities available just for kids by exploring the
Youth Clubs pages on the website. There's so much to look forward to!
Robert, I hope this information helps you in your planning! Please sail over again if you have more questions we can help answer.
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
