We are traveling Nov 5-9 with the inlaws and our 2 year old daughter.this is her second trip and love the character meals. we want to try mickeys b y bbq and are curious about the difference between sections 1 2& 3.the disney dining plan covers 1,2

    Hi Jeff,

I just had a look at the 2009 Disney Dining Plan brochure HERE and I can see where you've become confused. The brochure says that credits can only be used for category 2 or 3 seating at all dinner shows, but if you look very carefully in tiny print it says that for this to apply a cross type symbol is written next to the show. If you look at Hoop Dee Doo and the Aloha dinner they both have the cross whereas Mickey's Backyard BBQ doesn't. You'll be pleased to know that the BBQ has only one level of seating and seats are allocated on a first come first served basis. It does require 2 table service credits though.

Hope that helps and you have a great trip,
