We will be traveling with a not quite 3 year old child. I was wondering if the Sci-Fi Dine in Theater would be too scary for her?

This is a tough one and really depends on your child's personality. The movie clips that are shown on the big screen in the restaurant are not scary to a grown-up's eyes. There are some robots and some melodramatic faux screams, but mostly it's just campy, silly stuff. The reason there might be the smallest amount of concern about a pre-pre-schooler there is that the restaurant is quite dark (needed to show the films). Some kids just don't do well in a very dim environment. If your daughter has issues with the dark at all, I would postpone the Sci-Fi Diner until she's a bit older. Otherwise, you'll have a great time.
