Welcome aboard, Sammy! The Disney Dream is such a marvelous and magnificent ship. Okay, I need to throw in one more adjective that starts with "M": magical. From the moment your family first walks into the atrium of the ship as the Cast Members announce your family name and applaud your arrival, until it's time to go home, you'll have moment after moment of magical memories!
First of all, you should be receiving your cruise documents in the mail soon. Included in these will be your Disney Cruise Line luggage tags. If you have pre-booked
Disney Cruise Line Ground Transfers from the Orlando International Airport straight to Port Canaveral when your flight arrives that morning of the cruise, go ahead and attach the tags to your bags before you check them in for the flight at your home airport. Disney will pull these bags in Orlando and send them straight to the ship that morning. This is only if you fly in the morning of the cruise. If you are flying in a day or two prior, you won't attach your cruise luggage tags until you're ready to check them in at the ship. More details are provided in the cruise documents.
Attire for your four night sailing will include two cruise casual nights, one Pirate-themed night, and one Optional Dress-Up night. Pirate Night is a really fun night onboard when everything from dinner to activities and the deck party is pirate-themed. Guests go all out that night, wearing full pirate costumes, pirate accessories, or a pirate t-shirt. All guests will receive a Mickey's Pirates IN the Caribbean bandana to wear that night. It's so fun for the kids to parade around deck with other scallywag pirate cubs dancing to the music, and we all enjoy the show on deck and the Buccaneer Blast fireworks!
Have such fun, Sammy!
