Hi we are traveling next month and are staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Since we have never been, I'm trying to figure out how to go from the hotel to each park for rope drop. What do you recomment?

    Hi Anne-Marie!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! You are going to love Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside! There is a gorgeous pool and the food court offers a variety of options. When I stayed here a few years ago, I stayed in a Royal Guest Room, which was decorated for a princess! The headboards had a special fireworks display, there was a magic carpet on the rug, and there were princess portraits on the wall.

The best way to get to the parks from Port Orleans - Riverside is by bus. The bus service between Disney Resort Hotels and the Disney theme parks begins 45 minutes prior to opening and ends one hour after closing. Taking the bus will allow you to get to the park prior to rope drop. You can take Disney Water Transportation to Disney Springs, which is a fun way to travel!

While you are at Port Orleans, check out Boatright's Dining Hall. Their dinner menu includes Jambalaya, Shrimp and Grits, and Nashville Hot Chicken! You will want to make an advanced dining reservation, which you can do online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

I hope you have a magical vacation!
    Magically,
    Stacy
