Boo-To-You Mariana!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Halloween at Walt Disney World is spooktacular! From the fantastic giant pumpkins to
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, there is something to delight every boo-tiful soul. I hope you have
a tiny costume prepared for your little one. I’m sure she’ll be the cutest pumpkin in the Parks.
I have traveled to the
Disney Vacation Club properties many a time with babes, and they do a fantastic job of providing the amenities of home. These include a crib, high chair, and in-room laundry (which is a MUST with a
baby!). They currently do not provide bottle warmers at the
Resorts. But! You have a couple of options. First, you will have a coffee maker. Boil the water in it, pour it into a mug and place the bottle in there to heat up. It takes a few more minutes than a bottle warmer, but I’ve done it, and it’s very effective! Second, the microwave in your Villa kitchen. Similar to the coffee maker, boil the water, pour into a mug or bowl, and heat the bottle. Finally - bring your own! Especially once we had
the twins, this was an essential packing item!
The good thing is that you don’t need to worry about carrying your warmer into the Parks. Each of the
Baby Care Centers (located in each of the four Theme Parks) has a microwave and bottle warmer. Honestly, I look for any excuse to visit them! They are
a peaceful place to feed and change baby and
take a break from the crowds. They also have a small store with essential baby supplies in case you run out of anything.
Mariana, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. I hope you have a frightfully fantastic trip!
