We are traveling with a 4 month old. when making dinner reservations, do we need to include her on the reservations? Would we be charged for her? 2) is there a way to have a magic band not able to be used for payment - for example teenagers/kids?

Hi Sara!  Your trip is just around the riverbend!   Are you too excited to sleep already?  I know I always am when I have a trip on the horizon.  I hope you have a magical time visiting Walt Disney World with your crew.

Yes, you will need to add your four month old to your Advanced Dining Reservation.    By doing this you notify the restaurant to place you at a table large enough to accommodate a high chair in place of a chair.   Also for fire code each person in the restaurant needs to be accounted for even the littlest mouseketeers.   You will not be charged for your baby, but you will need to include them in the count.

To answer your second question you can certainly make it so only certain MagicBands can charge.  For example just the adults in your party could charge and all children could not.   On my trips I will set a spending limit on my children's  MagicBands.   For example I give them each fifty dollars to spend on souvenirs and once they have reached that limit they can not charge any more.  You can set this up at your Disney Resort hotel when you check-in.  The Cast Member assisting you will be glad to set up your charging privileges however you see fit for your family.

I hope this has helped. Please stop by anytime you have another question.  Helping Guests is what I enjoy best.
