Ahoy, Stacey!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It looks like you're planning a magical vacation for next fall on the Disney Fantasy. Deciding on a stateroom can be tough because there are several wonderful options offered onboard. One thing you'll want to think about is how much time you'll actually spend in the cabin. My family likes to be out and about most of the day enjoying either the ship or the ports of call so we usually don't spend a lot of time in our stateroom. The
Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah offers 299 square feet, which includes the verandah. The sleeping options allows for two adults to share the queen size bed with the other adults having the single sleeper sofa, wall pull-down (located next to the verandah) and the upper pull-down. The
Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah is slightly larger with 306 square feet including the verandah. The sleeping arrangement does differ slightly with it offering a queen size bed, double sleeper sofa and the upper berth pull-down. I have not stayed in these category of stateroom, but it looks like the double sleeper sofa is next to the verandah, which means you'll have to go around when it's pulled out.
Stacey, your other option would be to reserve two connecting staterooms to allow for a little more space. You can open up the balcony divider to make a larger area outside.
I hope I was of some help, Stacey. Please let us know if you have any additional questions about your upcoming sailing with Disney Cruise Line. Good luck with your decision!
