We will be traveling with My mom, my husband, daughter (9), son ( celebrating 5th birthdya), and soon to be born baby (3.5 months at time of trip). We are trying to decide between the grand floridian standard room and w.l. deluxe club level? Suggestions.

Hi, Abby!  You could not have chosen two more different resorts!  I truly enjoy both of these wonderful locations, but they are quite differently themed!

There are pros to each of them.  The Grand Floridian provides monorail access to the Magic Kingdom and then to EPCOT.  It's a quick and easy method of transpsortation, and I think with young children or senior citizens, it's super convenient to get back to the hotel for nap time or to tae an afternoon rest or shower before dinner.  I never had a problem keeping my kids at the park for a good chunk of the day, but I know a lot of moms prefer to make multiple trips back to the hotel, and I'd prefer the Grand Floridian for that.

Wilderness Lodge club level is going to give you some refreshments throughout the day.  Again, if you intend to spend some time at your resort during your stay instead of hitting the theme parks really hard, the club level might be perfect.  You can grab something for breakfast, some afternoon snacks, an evening dessert, and cold drinks throughout the day.  It's a great place to be if you want to relax some at the resort and enjoy the benefits of the club level lounge.

What it comes down to is what will work best for your family.  For me, it would be weighing the benefits between the convenient transportation and the club level amenities.  Consider your vacation style, and then you'll be able to decide which would work best for you!
