Welcome aboard, Bianca!
I remember when my kiddos were small and in car seats, having to bring those with us as we traveled made for lots of extra work. We did everything we could when we traveled to avoid hauling those along.
We found a few tricks back then to avoiding the extra luggage of car seats, so I'll share those with you since you are staying on your own prior to sailing. Those using
Disney Cruise Line's ground transfers directly to the cruise port won't need to worry about car seats, but I do understand wanting to fly in a day early to get settled, so I'm glad you were able to do so, and you can surely work out a car seat for your private travel. Any Port Adventures you book in the ports of call will not need car seats either, so rest assured it's just your pre-cruise travel that will take a little extra planning in that area.
Many rental car agencies will offer optional add-ons of car seats, so if you would be up for renting a car, look into those. I remember being so happy to pay the little bit extra to have one provided so we didn't need to bring ours along.
Additionally, we used private car services in a few vacation spots that provided a car seat. I just did a quick online search for "car service with car seat from Miami airport" and there were quite a few to choose from. Some Uber and Lyfts will also provide a car seat for an additional cost. That can be selected in their apps when you book. My motherly safety genes kicked in each time, though, and I always double checked that the car seats were safely and correctly installed before getting my family in the car.
So, those are a few options to consider as you get ready to head out to sea with Disney Cruise Line from the
port of Miami, Bianca! Have a magical adventure!
