Traveling May 25-June 1, wanting to spend an evening in Downtown Disney. Having a hard time finding info on the restaurants there. What are some good suggestions for two 21yo's? Can we make DR for these too?

Hi, Jennifer!  I love Downtown Disney, the shopping, the restaurants, the Ghiradelli's chocolate!  There are a few restaurants down there that I think two 21 year olds might like, but I must warn you, I am nearly old enough to have been a waitress at the Last Supper, so it's been a while since I've seen 21!

My absolute favorite spot in Downtown Disney is Raglan Road Irish Pub.  You'll find some great, traditional Irish food with a contemporary spin - including Shepherd's Pie; fish and chips; Guinness Stew; and smoked salmon.  We like to eat here later in the evening and enjoy the live Irish band and the dancer.

And even though you're 21 and it may sound like a kid thing, the new T-Rex restaurant and the Rainforest Cafe are great places to eat.  The portions are large, so you can easily share them, and even if you're a grown up, the theming in these restaurants is too cool to miss.

For the best sandwich anywhere on the planet, check out the Earl of Sandwich.  For about $6 each, you get a huge sandwich with great tastes as Hawaiian BBQ or a BLT that is out of this world!  They also have salads and wraps, and if you get one of the side dishes, the sandwiches are easily shareable.  And try the Earl's Grey Lemonade - yummy!

If you still have room after a wonderful meal, grab a sundae at Ghiradelli's or create your own Rice Krispie treat at Goofy's Candy Company.  That's fun at any age!

Have a great trip, and happy dining!
