Hi we are traveling to Magic Kingdom 0n 5/2 With a 1 yr old.We want to rent a stroller are there canopies on the strollers to keep my son out of the sun? And can he ride on the Pirates of the Caribbean with us? Thanks!

The rental strollers at WDW do have canopies. However, I will caution you that in the hot Florida sun, the canopies do not offer complete protection for your child, particularly if you are walking into the sun. You'll also want to make sure that your son starts the day with a good coating of sunscreen and that you reapply this throughout your stay. I have also seen many people bring a towel to drape over the stroller canopy, this can provide another shade source and is particularly useful in blocking out light if your child will be napping in the stroller.

As for Pirates of the Caribbean, there is no height requirement for this attraction. Your son is welcome to ride with you.
