We will be traveling to the Magic Kingdom with a 5 month old in December. I was wondering if there will be any rides that the baby will be able to go on?

Hi, Ian!  I began introducing my daughters to the excitement of the Magic Kingdom from about four months of age, and you may be surprised to learn that there are quite a few attractions you can enjoy with the baby!

Classic rides like It's a Small World and Dumbo the Flying Elephants are great attractions with a baby, but I also took mine on things like Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean.  At that young age, mine were not really aware of what may have been scary to an older child, and I think taking them so young on things like that helped them not be afraid as they got older.  None of them ever have been afraid.

You'll also enjoy things like Buzz Lightyear, the Jungle Cruise, Aladdin's Magic Carpet ride, and the carousel.  My all time favorite baby ride is the Tomorrowland Transit Authority, which often resulted in the start of nap time for my little ones!

I took my girls on just about everything that didn't have a height requirement!  If you are traveling with another adult, there are attractions that will also let you do a child swap, where you stand in line once, then one person rides while the other one holds the baby; then you can swap and the other person can ride.

Take advantage of the Baby Care Centers in each theme park as an excellent option for changing and feeding your little one.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
