We are traveling to LA soon. We are not going to Disneyland or staying on the premises. Can we still reserve and visit goofys kitchen?

    Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah, Kaitlyn!

When I saw your question about Goofy’s Kitchen, I just knew I needed to answer your question and welcome you to planDisney! Character dining is one of my favorite things to do at the resort. What’s great about character breakfasts is the characters come to you! I just love indulging in the scrumptious buffet of sweet and savory breakfast items, all while effortlessly interacting with beloved characters and capturing memorable photos.

Goofy’s Kitchen is located in the Disneyland Hotel. That means you don't need an admission ticket to the theme park if you just want to dine at the buffet. It's open to walk-in guests, although I highly suggest making a dining reservation since this is one of the most popular restaurants at the resort. I personally love having this option to meet characters outside of the theme parks. It's like making it the highlight of the day without all the hassle of planning and packing for a whole day at the theme parks with the family. On Mother’s Day this year, my toddler got an epic 2-minute and 33-second hug from Minnie during dinner service. My, oh, my what a wonderful day!

Kaitlyn, I hope this information helps you have a blast this month. Keep those questions coming! I’d love to share my favorite tips or suggestions for visiting the Happiest Place On Earth with you and your crew. Just consider me your personal pixie dust sprinkler and feel free to message me directly for a quicker response next time.

    See ya real soon!
