Hi! Traveling June 14-16 2013 just me and my hubby first trip with no kiddos. Having trouble choosing a moderate resort. Look for some where romantic that we can have some grown up fun. Also only have 1 day for the parks, trying to choose between MK or HS?

    Hi Julie,

I love that you are taking time alone to head out to the Walt Disney World Resorts with just your husband! My husband and I have visited WDW on our honeymoon and for various anniversaries without the kids. We love it so much!

Our favorite moderate is Port Orleans Riverside. We love to stay in the mansions of Magnolia Bend. We are close to Downtown Disney if we want to dine in a restaurant there. There is also a lounge onsite as well. You may want to go to the sister resort, French Quarter, where you get the charm of New Orleans.

Caribbean Beach Resort has lots of activities and romantic hideaways. However, with the addition of themed Pirates of the Caribbean and Nemo rooms, you might want to pass on this island themed resort.

I would go to Magic Kingdom over Disney's Hollywood Studios. I think there is more to do there. Plus with new Fantasyland and favorite thrill rides, this would be my choice.

While you are at the parks, try a fancy dinner at Citricos or Narcosses at the Grand Floridian or Wolfgang Puck at Downtown Disney. Food is great and the atomsphere is romantic.

Wishing you a magically, romantic trip!
