Hi Karen,
I am so glad that you brought your question here to us on the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We absolutely love being of service and helping answer all of your vacation questions. Staying at
Disney’s Old Key West Resort is the perfect relaxing location, channeling the tranquility of the Florida Keys right there in the heart of
Walt Disney World. You can easily access some of the incredible
restaurants,
shopping, and
entertainment by boarding the ferry from behind the Hospitality House and taking the short boat ride over to
Disney Springs.
I understand that traveling with an infant can require you to pack a bit of extra items and
shipping packages to and from your Walt Disney World Resort hotel is a great way to keep your load lighter. You can easily ship pre-packed, pre-labeled packages from the front desk at Disney’s Old Key West Resort. I have utilized Click-n-Ship through the United States Postal Service to print advance postage for the flat-rate shipping boxes. You could easily print the postage ahead of time and leave the boxes flat to pack along with you. Another option would be to have it packed and shipped from one of the onsite business centers at either
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa or
Disney’s Contemporary Resort, both easily accessible via monorail. Regular shipping and handling fees will apply.
I hope that this information helps you to prepare for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World in March! Please stop back by if we can help answer any more of your vacation questions.
