Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kiki!
I have a couple of little ones who are still in car seats, so I am familiar with navigating my way around the Walt Disney World Resort using only little-kid-friendly methods of transportation.
Kiki, I believe that you are referring to breakfast at either
Chef Mickey's at
Disney's Contemporary Resort or
'Ohana at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. You can not go wrong with either of these reservations because breakfast with Mickey and Friends is the perfect start to a magical day!
Personally, if I was trying to get to an early morning breakfast reservation with my little ones, I would take a
Minnie Van, which can be ordered through the Lyft app. Each Minnie Van Driver is a Disney Cast Member who has been thoroughly trained in car seat installation and has two Graco 4Ever convertible car seats that will be adjusted by the driver to fit your little one perfectly. With these drivers at the helm, you can rest easy knowing that your little one's safety is in good hands!
If you have a later breakfast reservation, you may be able to take a park bus from your resort to the Magic Kingdom and then proceed via the walkway to Disney's Contemporary Resort or hop on the monorail or boat to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. This method will take a bit of time, so you will want to make sure that you give yourself at least 1.5-2 hours before your reservation time to get there and that your reservation is late enough that the busses and monorail are running.
I hope that this helped, Kiki. Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help as you plan your magical vacation.
We hope to see ya real soon!
