Hello, Dave, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
How exciting that you’re planning to upgrade to an
Annual Pass for your next
Walt Disney World Resort vacation! My family and I have been Annual Passholders for the past three years, and one of our favorite
Passholder perks is that
Memory Maker is included in our Annual Passes.
I’m happy to report that as long as each person in your party is connected through your
Family & Friends list, you’ll be able to share your Disney
PhotoPass photos with everyone. Although you can view, download and order prints from the
Disney PhotoPass website, I prefer to use the
My Disney Experience mobile app to download and share our photos. It’s so easy and convenient to share photos on-the-go; you can text, email or even share through social media!
If you wanted to purchase the Memory Maker in advance, you can currently do so at a discounted price. But if you are 100 percent sure you’re going to become an Annual Passholder, your Memory Maker photos will go into effect the same day as your Annual Pass. Keep in mind, though, that it isn’t retroactive--so if you upgraded a regular Theme Park ticket to an Annual Pass on the last day of your ticket’s validity, you would NOT have the PhotoPass photos taken prior to that day included. That would be the best reason to either purchase Memory Maker in advance or upgrade your Theme Park ticket to an Annual Pass on the first day of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
Hopefully these tips will help you have a picture perfect trip, Dave. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help.
