Hi Shanna,
Welcome aboard planDisney! I'm so glad you sailed by with your question. You have a great big family reunion in the works! As Lilo likes to say, "Ohana means family. Family means no one gets left behind or forgotten." So, let's make sure there is room for everyone!
For a group your size, you will want to
call Disney Cruise Line and speak with a reservation specialist, who can help you determine the best fares, itineraries, and booking process for a group your size. You will have much more flexibility regarding
modifications, cancellations, and payment when booking individual staterooms instead of a contracted group reservation, yet be linked together for seating in the
Rotational Dining venues. If your family is interested in a private function (subject to availability), you can inquire about that booking process, too.
Once you have your cruise plans in place, remind everyone to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. With the app, everyone can view all the amazing activities available onboard and even synch plans together. There is also a helpful chat feature to help you stay in touch on the ship. When traveling with a large group, I like to set up different chat groups to make things easier. For instance, when the adults want to meet up in the
adult-exclusive areas of the ship while the kids enjoy the
kids and youth clubs, there is no need to have the young sailors in the chat group.
I hope this information is helpful, Shanna. We are here to help you make the most of your family's vacation, so stop by again with other questions!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
