We are traveling with Grandparents and want connecting rooms, last time I requested adjoinng and the rooms were only next to one another. When can I make this request? We will be arriving in 2 wks. Thank you

Hi, Jennifer!  Adjoining rooms are rooms that are next to each other, but do not necessarily have a door that can be open to go from one room into the other.  Connecting rooms are rooms that are not only next to each other, but you can also open a door in each room and be able to move between the two rooms without going outside.

If you want to be able to move about between each of the rooms, when you make your request, ask for connecting rooms.  You can make your room requests when you do online check-in, which you can do ten days prior to arrival; or you can fax in your request.  I find fax is the easiest, and I usually send mine about a week before I travel if we're going to request something specific.

I will tell you that requests cannot be guaranteed, but they do consider all requests made.

It sounds like a wonderful family vacation is ahead, and I hope you all have an absolutely magical time!  Some of my favorite vacations and best memories are made when Grandmom and Pop-Pop are with us!
