If we're traveling with friends and they want to go to Epcot while we go to Magic Kingdom, can we park at Epcot and take the monorail over if we don't have a park hopper ticket?

Hi Tyler, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

One thing that makes traveling to Walt Disney World Resort with family and friends so easy is the ability to split up into smaller groups and take advantage of complimentary resort and theme park transportation.  With bus, boat, monorail, and soon Disney Skyliner transportation options, everyone can easily get where they need to go.

Resort transportation at Walt Disney World is complimentary for all Guests, no matter what type of ticket they have.  Guests do not need to show a ticket to board the monorail, so you are welcome to park your vehicle at Epcot and ride the monorail to Magic Kingdom Park.  Please be aware that you will need to transfer monorail lines at the Transportation and Ticket Center.  If you prefer, you could use the parking area for Magic Kingdom Park instead, which is near the Transportation and Ticket center.  Then each party could board the appropriate monorail line from there to reach Epcot and Magic Kingdom Park.

I hope that helps!  Please feel free to visit the Moms Panel again with any additional questions you may have.  Enjoy your visit!
