Ahoy there, Vilai. How special that you’ll be bringing a friend’s daughter with you on your trip! I’m glad you stopped by planDisney with your question so we can get you all set for smooth sailing on the
Disney Wish this March.
I’m glad you already had the minor’s mom sign the Disney Cruise Line form. Make sure to have that on you when you arrive at the port because you will need to present the original signed (and printed) form when you check in at the terminal. They will not accept any copies of it or even pictures of the signed document on a mobile device.
In addition, all Guests are encouraged to have a passport as well. That being said, it looks like you’re sailing on the
4-Night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral, which is considered a “closed-loop cruise” (meaning a sailing that starts and ends in the same US port). When this happens, Guests can travel with just their original birth certificate and a government-issued ID. Because your guest is 16, she will also either need a passport or her original birth certificate and her Driver’s License (or a State ID). You can always find more information about
Travel Documentation on the Disney Cruise Line website.
Once onboard, the teens ages 14-17 in your travel party will have a blast making new friends and creating new memories at
Vibe Teen Club. This stylish hangout on the
Disney Wish is modeled after a Parisian artists’ loft and they can do everything from watch movies to have dance parties. My kids loved this area to escape to during the day and then we’d all circle back together for dinner and shows in the Walt Disney Theatre.
I hope this helps make your spring sailing even more magical, Vilai. If you think of any other questions before your trip, don’t hesitate to head back to us here at
planDisney!
Embrace the magic,
Sami
