Welcome to planDisney, Melissa! You’re getting ready to set sail on a majestic and magical
Alaskan adventure, so I’m thrilled I get to help you plan out your days at sea.
The full entertainment schedule, as well as the cruise activities, will be available on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once you board. While I cannot access the activity schedules before the sailing, I can share that the shows that will be available on your
7-Night Alaskan Cruise from Vancouver are Disney Dreams: An Enchanted Classic, Tangled: The Musical, and Twice Charmed: An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story.
In addition to the live shows in the Walt Disney Theatre, you’ll be happy to know the
Frozen Deck Party is currently scheduled for Wednesday, May 21. All entertainment is subject to change, so again, your DCL Navigator app will be your best friend AND your best source of the most current schedules once onboard.
Your specific
rotational dining schedule will also be available to view once you board by looking at, you guessed it, your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. If you have special requests for your dining (for instance, if you don’t want your favorite restaurant scheduled on a night you may stay later in port), you can make those requests known as well.
You’ll experience dining entertainment at both Animator’s Palate and Tiana’s Place. Because you are on a 7-night cruise, you just might get to experience Animation Magic at Animator’s Palate. At the beginning of the meal, you can sketch out your very own character and then watch your drawing come to life before your eyes as it becomes part of the show on the walls of the dining room. I still have the original menus my kids drew on when they were younger; it’s such a fun souvenir.
At
Tiana’s Place, you’ll experience a festive New Orleans-style family gala, complete with live jazz music and all the delicious dishes from the Bayou that you’d expect Princess Tiana to whip up. Whatever you do, don’t skip out on the beignets at the end of your meal! You might even spot Louis wandering the aisles and tapping his toes along to the trumpet.
Melissa, even though I wish I could have given you more specificity about what will happen when, I hope knowing all that’s in store is making you even more excited about your upcoming sailing. Just as good food brings folks together from all walks of life, I hope you’ll meet a heap of new friends and try a ton of delicious dishes while onboard the
Disney Wonder this May. If you think of any other questions before then, don’t hesitate to hop back to us here at
planDisney!
Bon voyage,
Sami
