Hi Mendy,
I am so excited that you and your friend will be getting to go on a cruise in the Caribbean. I recently cruised with a group of friends and it was an absolute blast. There are so many fun activities for adults to do on the Disney Cruise and I was pleasantly surprised.
Every
Verandah Stateroom will be configured with a queen bed and a single sleeper sofa. Some rooms will also include a twin upper berth that can be pulled down, but most of these are reserved for parties of four sharing a room. I completely understand not wanting to sleep on a sofa bed and feel the same way. Since Disney ships do not offer twin rooms, when I traveled with my friends we each got our own stateroom. You can reserve staterooms with an adjoining door so that you and your friend can stay together but each of you will still have your own sleeping space.
On our recent Disney Cruise, we had a blast doing all of the
onboard activities geared toward those 18 and up! The trivia games were a competitive way to get the evening started and we always ended our night grabbing drinks at Skyline, where the view and drinks change while you magically sweep through popular skylines all over the world. I also loved lounging at the
Senses Salon and Spa getting a pedicure and massage. It was such a tranquil environment and a great way to escape to a quiet adult-only luxurious experience.
Happy Sailing
Jenna
