I am traveling with a four year old and will have a car seat and will be dropped off with the car seat and was wondering where I can store the car seat

Welcome to planDisney, Connie!  Can you believe your Walt Disney World Resort vacation begins tomorrow?  It looks like you'll be escaping just in time to avoid the big Midwest snowstorm headed our way.

Nailing down all the logistics of planning a family vacation can be tricky.  PlanDisney is always happy to help!  The only storage available for your car seat at the theme parks would be locker rentals.  Lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Small lockers are 12" x 10" x 17" and large lockers are 15.5" x 13" x 17".  Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT also offer jumbo lockers, which measure 17" x 22" x 26".  Be sure to measure your car seat in advance if you plan to store it in a locker.  I would recommend bringing a booster seat rather than a full-sized car seat.  You might also wish to look into portable travel boosters that can be stashed in your bag or stroller.

If you'll be staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, consider using complimentary resort transportation to reach the theme parks.  Car seats are not necessary (nor permitted) on buses, boats, monorails, or the Disney Skyliner.

Connie, if you have any additional questions, please write us back.  Wishing you a magical vacation!
