    Hi! Traveling on my first Disney 7-day cruise in May on Fantasy and wanted to know how to dress my husband for dinner. Do I have to pack a suit for formal nights or will khakis and button down shirts work? Are dress shorts allowed at dinner? Thanks!

    Welcome to the Moms Panel and congratulations on your first magical voyage aboard Disney Cruise Line!  I know the winter months will fly by, and it will soon be time to enjoy the warm tropical temperatures on your Caribbean adventure!
    I like that you are thinking ahead about what to wear on your sailing because it will definitely make the weeks leading up to your cruise a lot less stressful!  A suit is not necessary on the more formal nights so I would go ahead with what you suggested-the khakis and button down.  Nice shorts are allowed in the three main dining rooms for dinner each evening so you can add those to your packing list. 
    The dining on board is truly spectacular because of the attention to detail in all the dining venues, the phenomenal culinary team, and the amazing servers who will take care of your family each evening!  I know you will love it!
