Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Merav!
I am excited to hear you will be cruising the
Caribbean with Captain Mickey this summer! You and your daughters are going to make so many magical memories together. I hope the time passes quickly until you set sail!
U.S. citizens may present either an original, valid U.S. Passport or U.S. Passport card to board the ship. As long as your daughters can present one of these
travel documents, they will fulfill their identification requirements to board the ship. Neither option is recommended over the other, both are acceptable!
My husband and I decided on the full U.S. Passport for our children in the event we planned international air travel in the future, which ended up being a good decision as we traveled to Europe this summer to sail on the Disney Magic. If cost is not an issue for you and your daughters may travel internationally by air in the future, it may be worth the investment to purchase the full U.S. Passport.
Once you are onboard together, consider some spa time with your daughters in the
Chill Spa. Guests 13 to 17 years old can enjoy time alone or with their parents in this relaxing space. Your girls can also spend some time together in the
youth clubs meeting new friends! Maybe one day they can use their passports to visit those new friends from around the world.
I hope I have steered you in the right direction, Merav! Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail.
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
