Ahoy, Roberta!
I see that you are taking an Eastern Caribbean voyage on the beautiful Disney Fantasy. The Fantasy is a fabulous ship. Be sure to take an adult evening and head to the adult district for a beverage. We love to visit "Skyline" for a martini.
Since you have such a wide range of ages, I would choose Port Adventures that require little walking. At your first port, St. Maarten, I would recommend trying out the
Golden Eagle Catamaran. Our family participated in this Port Adventure on our very first cruise, and it was spectacular. The walk to the catamaran was short, and the views while sailing were phenomenal. We enjoyed snorkeling in a lagoon where we could walk up to the beach, and the sailors provided floatation for anyone who wanted it. You could also check out the
Island Drive & Explorer Cruise, which appears to be truly a sightseeing tour.
In St. Thomas, you could take a trip with
Coral World Ocean Park and Scenic Drive. This way, you get the best of both worlds by visiting the Ocean Park and having an opportunity to touch sea creatures. Then, you will board a bus that stops twice for some spectacular scenery. My daughters loved visiting Coral World on our cruise to St. Thomas.
I hope this helps with your cruise planning.
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
