Hello, we are traveling February 5th, 2019 to the 9th and would like to know how the weather usually is at that time. We don't want to over pack but want to make sure we pack correctly. Thank you! Sharon

    Hi Sharon,

I bet you're SO excited, and I hope the anticipation is building for your vacation to the most magical place on earth! Honestly, you've chosen a great time to visit! The crowds should be pretty low then, the weather is generally quite mild, and the Epcot International Festival of the Arts will bring beautiful creations, delicious food, and exciting entertainment options!

As for what to pack, I have one word for you: layers. While the average high in February is in the low 70's, the lows usually dip into the 50's. While you might be comfortable in a t-shirt during the middle of the day, come evening, you'll likely want at least a sweater or sweatshirt. Now, with that said, I'd definitely keep an eye on the forecast when you're closer to your trip. My husband and I visited last January and it was unseasonably chilly. We ended up bringing our winter coats, hats, and gloves. Hopefully you won't need all that, but if you do, you'll want to be sure to be prepared. I always throw in ponchos when I'm packing, too, just in case a Florida thunderstorm blows through. With so much magic and fun to be had, I never want the weather to slow us down!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sharon, and please let us know if there's anything else we can help you with as you're planning your trip. Have fun packing, planning, and have a truly magical vacation!
