Hello, Will be traveling Feb 21-28 09, is it as important to make table service restaurant reservations for lunch as it is for dinner. In other words is there more availability for lunch? Thanks!

In my opinion, the importance to make a reservation is directly proportional to how important it is to you that you get you first choice restaurant and time!  Importance increases even more if you are visiting during a peak period (in your case, you are visiting during a less crowded time).  ;-)

In other words, if you really want to make sure you can eat where and when you like, please make advanced reservations.  Worst case, you can always cancel your reservations.

Regarding lunch vs. dinner, I think a fair rule of thumb would be that the demand for breakfast and dinner is slightly higher for restaurants outside the parks (i.e. in the Resort restaurants), but the demand for lunch is highest for restaurants in the parks.  So, the availability for lunch will be greatest at the resorts, and it's relatively scarce in the parks. The major exception might be that all character meals are popular. ;-)

    Hope that helps. ºoº
