Chantal, I’m glad to see you again!
Some of my best memories include the time we spend at dinner talking to our Server and Assistant Server. From remembering our favorite drinks to surprising us with a special dessert we might like, this attention to detail sets
Disney Cruise Line apart from the rest.
You can
call Disney Cruise Line and have your Server request noted on your reservation. However, it is not a guarantee. Sometimes the Server is no longer on that ship, or it’s his leave period. I did contact Disney to check if they keep track of your past Serving Team in their reservation system. Unfortunately, you do have to know your favorite Server's name and what country he is from.
I have some suggestions that might help you figure out his name. Are you part of a cruise group on social media? If you have a picture of your Serving Team, you could always post it asking if anyone knows their names. I have seen Guests successfully identify Serving Teams this way. A second option is to look for the paper slip that detaches from the gratuity paper at the end of your cruise. Sometimes I find this tucked in my suitcase. The names of all the individuals whom you tipped will be listed.
I’m positive that if you don’t get the same Server, you will have a fantastic team that will take care of your every need. I have one last suggestion as you get everything ship shape for your adventure at sea. Make sure you download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before your set sail. Once onboard, you can see your rotational dining menus, dining time, and table number. I enjoy looking at the dinner menu the night before, so I can dream about which delicious selections I plan to order.
Happy Sailing,
Tracie
