Welcome aboard, Joseph!
I’m so excited you have a Disney Cruise planned on the beautiful
Disney Wish. What I like best about cruising is that each day is a new adventure, but I only have to unpack once!
Unlike airlines, Disney Cruise Line doesn’t have a luggage weight limit. According to the
Cruise Contract, each Guest may bring a reasonable amount of clothing aboard the ship, not to exceed two bags per person. So, feel free to pack daywear, nightwear, and even some pirate gear. Keep in mind that all your luggage must be stored in your stateroom. I usually slide our suitcases under the bed.
A few weeks before your cruise, you will receive your
Luggage Tags. Secure the tags to your bags, and once you drop your luggage off at the port, you’ll see it again once onboard. Luggage should arrive before 5:30 p.m. that first night. Make sure you have any essential items packed in a day bag. My family likes to bring our swimsuits with us in our carry-on luggage. We usually have enough time to eat lunch, explore the ship, and take a dip in the pool before the sail away party.
Wow! It looks like that’s all I can PACK into this answer. If you’re looking for
packing advice, check out the useful lists based on destination on the Disney Cruise Line website. Have a great vacation!
SEAS the adventure!
