    Hi, We will be traveling on the Fantasy on June 29. We are from Canada, and our trip will be over Canada Day. Are there any "Canada Day" celebrations planned for July 1? Also do you know what movies will be playing that week? Thanks!

    It is wonderful to hear from you again!  My family actually cruised the first week of July last summer so I was able to look back at my cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator, to see if Canada Day was recognized.  It was listed on the front cover of the newsletter, but the only activities I saw offered were for the younger cruisers in the Oceaneer Club and Lab and Edge. Programming is always subject to change so be sure to check your newsletter on the evening of June 30th for the July 1st events.
    The Buena Vista Theatre is a beautiful venue so I hope you are able to take advantage of viewing some of Disney's first run movies during your sailing.  The movie schedule is always subject to change, but here are the current offerings-The Muppets, The Odd Life of Timothy Green, The Avengers, Brave (2D & 3D), Oz the Great and Powerful, Finding Nemo in 3D, Frankenweenie, Wreck-It Ralph, Lincoln, and Iron Man 3.  Since you are sailing June 29th, you can also expect to see Monsters University which premEARs on June 21st and The Lone Ranger which premEARS on July 3rd.  On the first day of your sailing, you should get a movie schedule for the entire week, and it will also be listed in your Personal Newsletter each day.
