We will be traveling on the Fantasy in early June. Currently, we are booked for the later dining option. Do you know what time the later dining starts? Also, what time is the earlier dining? Our children are 6 and 10, so I am not worried bedtimes.

Welcome aboard, Linda! Congratulations on your exciting Disney Fantasy cruise that is coming up so soon! Your family will certainly enjoy the ship and all that Disney Cruise Line has to offer!

The second seating for dining begins around 8:15 p.m. The main dining begins at about 5:45. I think with children ages six and ten, you will really enjoy the second seating. Our family goes back and forth with which seating we enjoy best, but there is a big perk to the second seating. Children are served first during this later dining, and then about 45 minutes into the seating, counselors from the Oceaneer's Club and Lab arrive at the doors to each of the three main dining restaurants to pick up kids who would like to go play in the clubs. Parents then enjoy the rest of their meal at a relaxing pace and get a chance to catch up with each other while the kids are off having a blast with newly found friends in the clubs. It's a win-win for everyone. Family time first and then some alone time.

Since you still have a couple months until you set sail, if you do decide to change to a different seating, just call Disney Cruise Line to see if there is availability and if there is, they are always happy to help you make that change.

Have fun as you continue to plan your magical cruise, Linda!
