If traveling with family and two people decide to cancel the trip a few weeks before the trip, can you transfer their hotel reservation to someone else so that you don’t have to pay a cancellation fee

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ashley! We love helping fellow guests from the Beehive State, which is home to my good friend, Tony. I'd be happy to advise you on how to proceed with your travel planning.

It's comforting to know how flexible Walt Disney World Resort is when it comes to making adjustments to your booking. Although Mickey is always sad when a guest can no longer come to visit him, he understands that these things happen! Currently, if you'd like to make any modifications to your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package, any Disney-imposed change fees would be waived. However, this new policy is meant to be temporary and is subject to change at any time. Cancellations, on the other hand, must be made 30 days or more before your arrival. If you need to completely cancel your reservation within 29 days to 2 days before your arrival date, there is a $200 fee per room. I recommend calling a Reservation Specialist at (407) 939-1936, and they will be happy to assist you.

I hope this helps, Ashley! See ya' real soon!
