Hi, I will be traveling with my family on the Magic Oct 29, 2016. The cruise leaves out of NY. Our cruise includes a 1 day hopper pass to the parks. Does Disney have specific busses in Port Canaveral for each park? How do you get back to boat end of day

    Ahoy Lisa!
Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your cruise questions! I'm thrilled to hEAR you are taking advantage of the Disney Magic being in your home state of New York in October! I remember wondering the same questions when I sailed this itinerary back in 2012. We chose this particular cruise because we wanted to experience the Walt Disney World Resort as one of our cruise destinations and loved that the park hoppers were included! It was also a magnificent city to sail away from and back into in the wee hours of the morning! I definitely recommend getting up early to see NYC before dawn. One of my favorite moments of this cruise!
Once aboard Disney Cruise Line will provide you with plenty of information about your magical day at the Walt Disney World Resort in your stateroom. But for now, here is an idea of what you can expect when the Disney Magic floats into its home terminal-Port Canaveral. All ashore will be early around 6:15 a.m. for those Guests who want to be at the parks bright and early for a full day of pixie dust! Breakfast options will be offered early so be sure to grab a bite to eat to hold you over. When my family cruised back in 2012, we did have to go through U.S. Customs so you'll want to plan 10-15 minutes for this step if still required. Once you make it out of the terminal, motor coach buses will be lined up and waiting for you. Each motor coach will have a different Theme Park name next to it so just board the bus that matches your first park of the day. Motor coaches will be running all day so no need to be there first thing if you choose to sleep in. At the end of your day at the most magical place on earth, you will proceed to the area where all the buses line up and look for a sign that says Disney Cruise Line. Each of the four Theme Parks will have a motor coach waiting to whisk your crew back to the spectacular Disney Magic!
If you think of any other questions, please let us know!
    Have a magical day!
