Traveling with my family of 6 with kids ages 14, 7, and twin two year olds. I purchased the dining plan but was hoping for some guidance on what sit down meals to do that would appeal to my kids' age ranges. We are staying at Bay Lake Tower. Thanks

    Welcome Back!

I am so pumped to see that you chose Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort for your visit, Stephanie. I am confident you will love it!

I'd start with a quick boat ride over to Disney's Wilderness Lodge for a howlin' good time at Whispering Canyon Cafe. Just be sure to pack your sense of humor in your handbag because the Cast Members here are fun, spontaneous, and anything but quiet. The only thing I ever know for sure about a visit here is that I will leave completely full. Other than that, we have seen my husband doing the chicken dance, my daughter "riding a horse" around the dining hall, my sister given a gallon jug of water, and 20 or so straws flung at my mom. If your tummy hurts when you leave, it's either because you are so full of the delicious food or because you have laughed so hard. Make sure you ask for ketchup.

I also recommend that you hop aboard that "Highway in the Sky" to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for a tasty meal with your 'Ohana. Meet up with some favorite Disney pals at Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch or enjoy skewers of meats at dinner. If you can schedule an Advance Dining Reservation during Wishes NIghtime Spectacular, the floor to ceiling windows make for a great viewing location.

These are just two of my favorites. Be sure to let us know if you would like some additional suggestions!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
