I will be traveling with my DH 9/26-10/3. Excited about free Dining Plan, but worried about ADRs. Do you expect ADR to be in higher demand during this promotion? Should we plan for lunches instead dinners to help insure we get the restaurants we want?

Hey Lisa, ADRs are really always in high demand.  The free dining could add to the rush but reservations always book very quickly even during non dining promotions.
What you really want to do is take a look at the ADRs you think you might want to book and make sure you call reservations 90 days before your arrival.  You need to call 407-WDW-DINE and start calling at 7 AM (EST) that morning, as reservations will go very quickly.  Try to be flexible as you might find an ADR is available but maybe not on the day or exact time you first desired.
The biggest thing is call as soon as your date allows, if you do this your chances are much better of obtaining the reservations you really want for your trip.
Thanks for the great question and I hope you have a wonderful WDW vacation in the fall.
