    We will be traveling to ESPN world of sports for the Field hockey tournament Jan 30th tru Feb 2nd. What discounts are offered on park tickets? I heard there are tickets priced lower for those participating on the event, and is that just for the player?

    Hi Natalie!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.   Congratulations to the field hockey team on making it to the tournament at Walt Disney World.   I have been to many cheer, dance and soccer tournaments held at ESPN Wide World of Sports  with my daughter and we have always had a wonderful time.  I hope you do as well.

    Usually tournaments or competitions are set up by a company or league.  For example, Varsity Cheer set up the competitions my daughter attended.   We set up our Disney Resort hotel rooms and tickets through them.   We did get a slight discount on tickets and we were able to purchase them for all Guests staying in the Disney Resort room.   I don't know what company or league the Field Hockey Tournament is sponsored or put on by, but you may want to check with them for any current discounts on tickets.    If you can't find one, I suggest looking into the 4-Park Magic Ticket.  This ticket lets you visit all four Disney Theme Parks ( Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park)  one time each and one park per day during your trip.   These tickets are a great value, and you will save you money over buying a regular ticket.
